Brittany Clark

Reaching New Heights Director, Head Teacher

Brittany is the Director of Reaching New Heights Kindergarten and Roots After School Program. She received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work and her Masters Degree in Social Work with a Specialization in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. She then went on to attend George Fox University where she received her Masters in the Art of Teaching. She has had experience teaching kindergarten in public, private, and charter schools. Through these experiences she has developed a program that fosters a love of learning, creativity, and growth in the fundamental year of kindergarten.

Brittany has had many opportunities in her life that she believes has helped shape who she is and how she is qualified to teach the curriculum she has implemented into the program. As a child she grew up taking many dance and voice lessons. She was a cheerleader and a gymnastics student here at Metro. From 6th grade through college she took Spanish classes. She taught a character building class in Arizona at Excelencia Elementary School. She has been a student of Sign Language, Yoga, Art Literacy and has found a love for gardening.

While she is not with your child here at school or lesson planning she is spending time with her amazing husband, Jason, her family or her friends. She enjoys hosting parties and events, scrapbooking, and crafts. She also loves the outdoors, wakeboarding with her husband on their boat, snowboarding on Mt. Hood or Mt. Bachelor, or taking a trip to Hawaii where she and her husband go scuba diving.

Brittany has seen that kindergarteners have an amazing ability and excitement for learning if the information and lessons are presented to them in a positive and developmentally appropriate way. This year comes once in a lifetime and she knows she has a single opportunity to make it wonderful. She feels so blessed to be a part of a child’s life during this very special year.
